About Me

My name is Md Asif Hasan. I am a graduate with expertise in Geology in 2018 and completed my Masters from the University of Dhaka specializing on Disaster and Environment Management in 2019. I have worked as a research associate at the Geoinformatics Research Laboratory of the University of Dhaka under the supervision of Professor Dr. Md Bodruddoza Mia on geospatial projects from 2020 to 2021. I later worked as a Research & Innovation Associate in RedOrange Media and Communications. I have an unquenchable thirst for Earth & Environmental studies, and wish to build a research career in Geosciences. My primary research interests are in the geo-information and water science domain. Beside my academics, I am also a youth worker and an environment enthusiast. Until now, I have volunteered for many student clubs and environmental non-profit organisations. With my work I am committed to have a positive impact on the life of people and the environment.
